Is it really free?
Yes. You get five questions from your notes with no account. A free account gets you the full question set and flashcards from the same notes.
What can I paste in?
Lecture notes, a chapter, a study guide, or slides you copied as text. You can also upload a PDF or a text file. The free version reads about the first 8,000 characters, which is a few pages.
Where do the answers come from?
Every question is written from your own notes, and each answer shows the line of your notes it came from, so you can check it yourself.
Do you keep my notes?
Not on our servers. Your notes are sent once to write the questions and are not saved there. A copy stays in this browser so that, if you make a free account, your notes are waiting for you inside Novis.
